cottage life was kinda ok , but dam hostel life was madness with all these bummers . every year my chinies dad used to take a trip to Hong kong ,and when he got back he used to buy me good stuff . And there goes me trying to act futti and show of my stuff at school . by the time you are in hostel ,already some guys have eyed your stuff after two weeks your lovely addidas sneakers is with someone else . but then some how you also get into this way and start bumming .
but the worse is when going home day is around the corner ,and thats the time we have to show the list of wat clothes we bought back from home ,**** man i had only rags to show ,all my new clothes had changed colour and shape . hehehehehhe
My mom had no clue who's clothes we bought back. If at all she asked we would say we got them at sponsor shopping ha. Esp the navy blue socks dont remember wearing a proper pair except during the first week of school.
After the 3 months holidays ,My chinies dad would always say Melvin I want to see the same clothes when you come home after 9 months . But that never happened ,because once we got into the Hostel,esp willingdon ,man those homes buggers always borrowed your clothes and by the time it came back to you it was worse than a rag . Well I cant say much because I too borrowed clothes hehehehe. I used to practically dry my undies and vest in my locker .my pants under my bed .There was this time ,one guy borrowed my short pants and played sluchi foota in it and when he gave it back to me washed it was worse than the rubbers we used to shine the floors .
